Trip Itinerary
The suitably designed itinerary that takes care of all your comforts and lets you have the best experience of the place. Remember this is just a provisional itinerary and we welcome any changes you want to make according to your needs.
Day 01: Arrival Kochi Airport
Our representative will receive you at the Kochi Airport and will escort you to the hotel. Feel at leisure in the evening when you relax yourself in this picturesque ‘port city’. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Kochi Tour
Set out for sightseeing in Kochi. Your itinerary here will include places like Fort Kochi, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church and more. The Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach are the must see. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Kochi – Munnar (4 hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar on arrival check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 04: Munnar
Spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. Munnar was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visits to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai where the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 05: Munnar – Thekkady (4 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Periyar, a highly picturesque resort ideal for unwinding. Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel. In the evening simmer down and get refreshed enjoying a boat safari in the scenic Periyar Lake at extra cost, occasionally winning the glance of some rare varieties of birds and animals at Periyar National Park. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Thekkady – Alleppey (5 hrs) (Houseboat)
After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 07: Alleppey – Kovalam (3hrs)
After breakfast check out from the Houseboat and drive to Kovalam, on arrival check into the hotel. Day is at leisure. Evening enjoys the beaches in Kovalam. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam
Morning set out on a sightseeing tour to Trivandrum. Your itinerary will include places of interest like Padmanabhaswamy temple, renowned for its towering gopurams and temples arts and paintings. The main pavilion of the temple stands impressive with 400 marvelously granite carved pillars. Your guided sightseeing tour will cover the rest of the attractions too. Later in the evening travel back to Kovalam for an overnight stay.
Day 09: Kovalam – Trivandrum (45 min) = Departure Transfer
Morning get dropped at Trivandrum airport for your flight back home, feeling content about the wonderful you spend in the “God’s Own Country”.
