This wild and beautiful but gentle land holds numerous mysteries within itself which you can only explore once you are there.

TRIP ITINERARY

The suitably designed itinerary that takes care of all your comforts and lets you have the best experience of the place. Remember this is just a provisional itinerary and we welcome any changes you want to make according to your needs.

  • Day 01:

    Paro - Thimpu

    After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

  • Day 02:

    Thimpu SIghtseeing

    After breakfast, visit the Kuensel Phodrang, a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, the Takin Preserve Centre (Takin, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here), and Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay at Thimphu.

  • Day 03:

    Paro - Punakha

    After breakfast, drive to Punakha. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, which is the world’s largest Buddha statue made of copper. On the road, visit the DochuLa Pass, which is a high mountain pass between Thimphu and Punakha and has some of the most exquisite views of the Himalayas. After lunch, visit the Punakha Zhong or the Punakha Monastery and the Chimi Lhakhang temple, which is surprisingly a Buddhist temple for a monk attracted to women and alcohol (yes you heard us right) and now it’s a pilgrimage destination for childless couples.

  • Day 04:

    White Water Rafting and Drive to Paro

    One of the amazing things to do while in Punakha is the White River Rafting on the Mo Chhu. This activity more or less depends on your timing of visit to the country. While in Autumn, it’s a sedate task; in spring, it’s a bigger adventure.

  • Day 05:

    Paro

    While in the Cultural Capital of Bhutan, visit the National Museum which has numerous thangkas, Buddhist artefacts and festival masks on display. Visit the Paro Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

  • Day 06:

    Hike to Taktsang

    After breakfast, visit Drukgyel Dzong. Also visit the famous Taktsang Monastery ‐ called “Tiger’s Nest” (2hrs hike from the base camp) & Kichu Monastery. Overnight stay will be at Paro.

  • Day 07:

    Departure

    Tour concludes. We thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
